It is a great idea, but not for all, for example, in the case of GV en español, where our translators are not only in Latin America but Spain and even the rest of the world, the logistics would be expensive, so maybe a Southamerican event with just the people from the region woud be more feasible.

You can start this by saying Editors sometimes there's no need to context, that some texts are self explaining and that not all the readers are morons or don't use Google to dig deeply in the subject.

This is interesting, the way things are now, if you're just translating you're a Lingua site, but if you start producing content you become Regional, so growing as a Lingua site is not possible, they evolve. There are some definitions there that constrict Lingua sites from growing... or at least, this is how I've seen it happen.
