I also think that GV writers should follow SEO's (Search Engine Optimization) guidelines to rank higher in Internet search engine's results. In Spanish, for example, we have "Escribir en Internet" by Fundéu, that is an excellent book to learn how to write on the net, because people don't read on the net in the same way as they do when they read a book. These are important things writers should take into account.

Should we consider having some budget for social media advertising? Perhaps use it tactically only special coverages? Is organic the only way to go?

I am posing these questions because there are all sorts of opinions pro and against, so I'd be great if our core team can have a discussion around them considering the constant evolution of this media.

May be adding a link to GV under our signature in every mail we sent coud be a way to push people to look waht it is GV. Certainly it is not the only way to advertise and promote GV but could help it.
