Normal things and good news. It's OK to report about bad news, unfortunately we can't hide them, but we should also encourage the reporting of good news. Even the simplest ones can make our readers feel there's still hope.

... as long as this is sufficiently distinctive from all the other stuff that's out there? I would suggest reframing this as perhaps an increased presence of "positive news".

Cultural posts like those related to books, movies, local and international film festivals, music, cultural movements and so on can be very atractive and fun. And they are ussually widely shared across social networks.
